The Chocolate Fudge Cafe

I don’t want to seem boring, talking about trade shows and what-not, but we just introduced our organic fudge to the world, (so to speak), at the Natural Products Expo in Las Vegas on July 18 and 19.  I believe I can honestly say that we were one of the “hits” of the show.  At least it seemed that way.  Folks kept coming back to our booth to try the fudge.  Friends were telling friends.  We hope we made the expo “sweet” for everyone.

    Excitement was in the air, that’s for sure.  There were a lot of really great companies and products there.  We were in the organic food section, which basically consisted of one row at this particular fair.  We understand that Expo West in Anaheim is about 8 times bigger than Las Vegas, which is the NPA’s national show, but I think we had just about all we could handle.  There was so much to learn from all the different people who came to our booth that it was a little overwhelming.  We met store buyers and food brokers and distrubutors and exhibitors and magazine editors.  Everyone was very helpful and wished us luck on our journey of getting our fudge to the public.  It seems that there is generally an open-hearted wish to help new companies get started, by all parties concerned.  That was encouraging.

The one thing we didn’t really run into was INVESTORS…although, that wasn’t why we went to the show.  However, we heard a few rumors about some “angels” out there who help companies like ours that are on the precipice of explosion.  So we took copious notes about those and will be following-up!  What we’re looking for is some angel money in the form of a low-interest loan…in case anybody out there is reading this :)  It will only be a matter of a short time before this company is doing a booming business.   Right now though, we just need to stay in the black while we grow.  If you know of anyone who would like to invest in Earth’s Sweet Pleasures and our mission, please contact us.
