EARTH’S SWEET PLEASURES, makers of the Gourmet Fudge Bar, want to celebrate Earth Day 2013 by acknowledging all the farmers who make our product possible, from the cacao farmers in Ecuador to the sugar cane growers in Dominican Republic. Our product is 100% organic and fairly traded. Our home-compostable wrapper is made from corn-based cellulose.
We endeavor to make our deliciously rich Gourmet Fudge Bars as earth-friendly as possible. Our 70% dark chocolate comes from Ecuadorian farms certified by The Rainforest Alliance. L. Hawk Cargo, “The Fudgemeister” feels this is the best tasting chocolate he’s ever found. The fudge is hand-crafted into bars from an old family recipe, but all the ingredients have been converted into a mouth-watering, healthier combination.

Amazon Watch
This year’s luncheon was a celebration of fifteen years of achievements for the people and rainforests of the Amazon and the launch of new initiatives to advance alternatives to large dams in the Brazilian Amazon, secure land rights for indigenous peoples in Peru, and bring clean water to oil affected communities in Ecuador.
Our special guest was Brazilian indigenous leader Sheyla Yakarepi Juruna, an unwavering defender of the Xingu River and indigenous rights in Brazil and key spokesperson for the campaign to stop the Belo Monte Dam.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER OF EARTH’S SWEET PLEASURES
Hi Everyone. Thank You to all our pledging supporters. For an old timer that has been a giver all of his life, it has been a monumental challenge for me to ask to receive. At 61, this dream of a successful company has consumed all of me for over 5 years (2 years of creativity before we started ESP). I wish I could send a bar to every angel that pledged their support for us and has never tasted this unique fudge, but it would probably be cost prohibitive. We’ve been test marketing it for quite a while and I’m still amazed at the expressions and responses we get from people.
We still have a long way to go and a short time to get there (sounds like the movie “Smokey & the Bandit”) so it would be a big help if you would tell everyone you know about my quest and maybe they will have the heart to pledge too. All for now. Thank You Again!
Hawk
